Forty eight individuals have already received sight-restoring surgeries, with a role out plan of more each month through the initiative. These surgeries not only restore vision, but they also enable recipients, along with their carers who have dropped out of school or left their jobs to care for their family members, to regain their independence and actively participate in their communities. The profound impact is that we can lift families out of poverty and provide a brighter future for the next generation.
