YOUNG artists and members of non-profit organisation (NPO) Lalela unveiled their Madiba mosaic they created for Mandela Day at the V&A Waterfront yesterday Lalela works with vulner-able youth in Hout Bay. The mosaic initiative was created by NPOs Relate Bracelets and the Mandela Bracelet. Also at yesterday's event were Ikamva Labantu seniors from Khayelitsha, who showed off their beading skills. The mosaic will remain as a permanent feature at the V&A Waterfront as a reminder of the legacy left by world icon and democratic South Africa's first president, Nelson Mandela.
