On April 3rd we celebrated Jane Goodall’s milestone birthday, the world renowned chimpanzee expert and founder of the not-for-profit Jane Goodall Institute (JGI). What better way to celebrate the birthday of this amazing woman and chimpanzee warrior than wearing a Chimp Eden bracelet stack?

The Jane Goodall Institute bracelets support the rehabilitation, rescue and homing of chimpanzees.

As a child in London, Goodall was given a chimp toy by her father, and this inspired her lifelong love of animals. She became a researcher in primatology, the study of apes, and has dedicated her life to studying and protecting chimpanzees, which are highly intelligent animals. Today, she devotes nearly all of her time to advocacy on behalf of chimpanzees and the environment, travelling all over the world to do it.

The Jane Goodall Institute is a global organisation that empowers people to make a difference for all living things. Its South African branch runs Chimp Eden, a chimpanzee sanctuary committed to rescuing and homing traumatized chimpanzees. These chimps may have been mistreated, or misplaced from their natural habitats in Central Africa.

Being the first and only chimpanzee sanctuary in South Africa, Chimp Eden brings the world of chimpanzees closer to humanity through education and tourism. By buying a Chimp Eden bracelet stack, you will help JGI South Africa with primate rescue, rehabilitation, conservation and community environmental and humanitarian education.
