For most of us, fresh, clean running water is just a few steps away. For women across rural South Africa, it’s a long and often dangerous walk every single day.
Innovation: Africa is a non-profit dedicated to bringing access to clean water to remote African villages. Since 2018, over 150+ villages now have a solar water pumping system installed, impacting over 600,000 lives in South Africa.
Together, we share a goal to reach a target of R1.5 million to build a sustainable solar water system that provides clean, running water to the 4000 rural inhabitants of the Nomu Wa Huku Village in the Ehlanzeni District of the Mpumalanga Province, South Africa.
