OBSA GBV Youth Program

Social Objective:

Relate Bracelets proudly supports Outward Bound South Africa (OBSA) to address the critical issue of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), a challenge that deeply affects vulnerable communities across South Africa.

Outward Bound, a nonprofit organization, empowers young people through transformative, outdoor experiential learning programs. These programs are designed to challenge harmful belief systems, educate youth, and equip them with tools to prevent GBV. A cornerstone of this initiative is a transformative five-day intervention, offering girls and boys an experiential adventure aimed at developing them into responsible, empathetic, and tolerant adults who embrace diversity.

The program fosters personal growth, resilience, and mutual respect, providing youth with the life skills needed to recognize, address, and ultimately prevent GBV within their communities. By cultivating a culture of tolerance and respect, OBSA empowers young individuals to take a stand against violence and drive positive change in society.

Our Impact:

With over 32 years of experience, OBSA has positively impacted the lives of more than 65,000 young people, harnessing the power of adventure-based learning to inspire transformative change. By supporting OBSA’s initiatives, Relate Bracelets is helping to dismantle the culture of GBV and protect lives to build a brighter, safer future for South Africa’s youth.

Let’s wear the change to challenge societal norms. Show your support and help us fund this critical program to address Gender-Based Violence in South Africa, with Relate Bracelets.
